IRIZ Zen Dictionary Tools

This is a set of utilities whose core is formed by a database of the lookup words of twelve major Zen and Buddhist reference works. The data were input partly by Urs APP and partly by the IRIZ in the framework of the Zen KnowledgeBase project. We also included a footnote index to the Zen no goroku series of translations and some additional important translations.

Dedicated tools for the DOS, Windows, and Macintosh environments let you look up (or pick up) any term inside an electronic text, and you get the page numbers of any of these works where the term or name is discussed. Often, the Japanese pronunciation is also included.
